The New York Times has an in-depth interview with Kanye West ahead of the release of his sixth solo album, “Yeezus”. Ye covers off on a range of subjects spanning the length of his illustrious career, including his work on Jay-Z’s “The Blueprint” and the influence of “808s and Heartbreak” on the industry. When shifting to talking his latest project, the artist gets into how it’s more simple and minimalistic than his over-the-top and extremely complicated works of the past.

Here’s the official album artwork for Kanye West’s Yeezus. The details of the album have been widely rumored down to each and every detail including the packaging. Well, Ye’s unveiled the official artwork via Twitter and his website to deliver the truth. The hip hop artist has gone the minimalist on this one, with just a red tape slit with the Yeezus written by a Sharpie. The album’s due to release on June 18th.

To promote the launch of the latest addition to their lineup, the F-Type, Jaguar teamed up with Ridley Scott Associates to create Desire, a 13-minute short film that takes place in the middle of Chile’s Atacama Desert. Damian Lewis of Homeland plays lead here as a delivery driver for high-end cars. This time, he’s behind the wheel of the 2014 Jaguar F-Type and runs into a bit of trouble. Spanish actor Jordi Mollà and American actress Shannyn Sossamon are also in the film, showcasing that Jaguar’s pulling out all the stops to align with the launch of the 2013 World Car Design of the Year.

The F-Type’s interior is inspired by a fighter plane cockpit while more than half the car is made from recycled metal, with 80% less CO2 emissions during manufacturing compared to traditional steel welding. All-in-all, British automaker’s done an exceptional job crafting the F-Type and we’re excited to see it hit showrooms in the months ahead. Until then, enjoy Desire in its entirety below.

Jay-Z has dropped a new track dubbed “Open Letter” this morning produced by Swizz Beatz and Timbaland. It was written less than 24 hours ago and is fresh off a trip to Cuba which some people aren’t happy about and word that he’s selling his stake in the Brooklyn Nets to be able to expand his Roc Nation Sports representation business into basketball.

Here we have another trailer for the movie adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby. The Roaring Twenties; the Golden Age; the Jazz Age; Prohibition and bootleggers; flappers and speakeasies; peaked lapels, shorter jackets, and fedoras–what is not to love?

“The Great Gatsby” follows would-be writer Nick Carraway (Tobey Maguire) as he leaves the Midwest and comes to New York City in the spring of 1922, an era of loosening morals, glittering jazz, bootleg kings, and sky-rocketing stocks. Chasing his own American Dream, Nick lands next door to a mysterious, party-giving millionaire, Jay Gatsby (Leonardo DiCaprio), and across the bay from his cousin, Daisy, and her philandering, blue-blooded husband, Tom Buchanan. It is thus that Nick is drawn into the captivating world of the super rich, their illusions, loves and deceits. As Nick bears witness, within and without of the world he inhabits, he pens a tale of impossible love, incorruptible dreams and high-octane tragedy, and holds a mirror to our own modern times and struggles.

This new trailer also showcases some new music that will be featured on the soundtrack, mainly a stand-out cover of Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black” by Beyoncé and André 3000. Jay-Z executive produced the soundtrack and also has a track with other notables on the tracklist including Jack White, The xx, Florence and the Machine, and Lana Del Rey.

Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg team up for “2 Guns.” Directed by Baltasar Kormákur, the duo play a DEA agent and an undercover Naval Intelligence officer who have been tasked with investigating one another find they have been set up by the mob — the very organization the two men believe they have been stealing money from. The movie’s set to release later this year on August 2nd but we’ve got the trailer below to get things started.
