Head Porter’s apparel division, Head Porter Plus, recently landed on Hypebeast’s online store. The label’s F/W 2012 offerings are as expected — minimalistic designs with fine details and amazing craftsmanship. The line features staple items such as oxford shirts and cotton chinos (with eccentric crotch detailings. The products are manufactured in Japan and can be seen through some these visuals and purchased through Hypebeast.
S.E.H Kelly has introduced their first-ever reversible jacket that features a wool shell sourced from a mill in West Yorkshire, and real horn buttons from the Midlands. See this as two four-button jackets made with complementary shades of wool-tweed that’s dry and warming. Both sides have a small rounded collar. The jacket’s lighter side has light horn buttons; the other side has dark ones. The jacket delivers on all fronts and also features hidden, in-seam slouch pockets that deliver added coverage for your hands.

Nepenthes has taken stock of Engineered Garments’ latest bag offerings for F/W 2012. The lineup consists of three different styles, each delivered in wool shells with rich detailing. The Daypack is a traditional backpack style bag with a heavy wool exterior and nylon lined interior and comes in Navy 30oz Melton and Navy Wool Camo. The Tool bag is a short leather handle tote bag with numerous exterior pockets to hold all your daily items and potentialy tools. This one’s available in Navy Wool Camo, Olive Wool Melton, and Navy 30oz Melton. The last style, the laundry bag, is an extra large tote with draw string enclosure at the top and backpack straps and can be had in Olive Wool Melton and Navy Wool Camo.

The folks at Haerfest are continuing their “Alpha Experiment” series with the release of their first ever all leather sneakers. From the founders, they felt it was trainers were a natural progression as they looked to expand their offerings while staying true to the Haerfest brand. These beauties come in two colorways, Ivory w/ Off-White Cowhide and Matte black w/ Black Marble Cowhide. “Making this design transition, we wanted to also translate our underlying aesthetic of ‘familiar yet unexpected’ to our first style of trainers. With the foundation of a reduced silhouette, we added our signature ring and stud detail on the pull tab.”

Maiden Noir is set to celebrate its seventh anniversary with this capsule collection in collaboration with seven different brands: Challenger, Stussy Deluxe, NexusVII, New Era, Porter, Timberland and Skookum. Some of the pieces are already available , exclusively in a pop-up shop in the Stussy Harajuku chapter store. The pop-up shop will open its doors to New York (NYC Stussy) in early October and then onto Toronto (Haven), Los Angeles, and finally Seattle.

GENTLEMAN of Japan delivers their English Wool Stadium Jacket in a finish that’s damn near perfect. “Taking design cues from Takeshi “BIG-O” Osumi and Yuichi Yoshii, the jacket features 100% British wool in the body and soft leather on the arms which serves as a nice contrast to the beige torso section.” Look for this offering from MR. Nigel Cabourn and Eddie Bauer have teamed up once again, this time bringing us more inspiration from Eddie Bauer’s historical archives. The American brand has an immense warehouse of designs and Mr. Cabourn was able to swift through to find some amazing fabrics and classic designs that we’re really glad to see come to fruition. Beyond the archives, the collection is also inspired by vintage hunting and fishing styles, something that’s quite prevalent throughout the offerings. Quilted coats, waxed cotton vests with fur lined detachable hoods, and down filled parkas are all designed and constructed with the uncompromising quality that has become synonymous with the Nigel Cabourn brand (consider that the down filled parkas are stuffed by hand and require more than five hours of production work to complete each garment).
