Nike Sportswear is known to blend classic Nike styling with modern function and detail and the Free Woven NRG’s show the brand delivering a damn-near perfect pair of sneakers. The shell features a mix of leather and synthetic materials to a create a more texture and dynamic silhouette. The 3.0 take much inspiration from past Free Woven NRG, but this time aroung, NSW’s added a Free outsole. These will be available at JUICE in Hong Kong on November 1 for $1,439 HKD (approximately $185 USD). (via hypebeast)

The folks at Haerfest are continuing their “Alpha Experiment” series with the release of their first ever all leather sneakers. From the founders, they felt it was trainers were a natural progression as they looked to expand their offerings while staying true to the Haerfest brand. These beauties come in two colorways, Ivory w/ Off-White Cowhide and Matte black w/ Black Marble Cowhide. “Making this design transition, we wanted to also translate our underlying aesthetic of ‘familiar yet unexpected’ to our first style of trainers. With the foundation of a reduced silhouette, we added our signature ring and stud detail on the pull tab.”

Pre-orders for these being taken now through October 14th through Haerfest with delivery happening next month.

Union LA has taken their first delivery of footwear for the Fall 2012 season and, as you can see, they’re starting things off right. They’ve taken stock of a few high-in-demand Visvim pieces including the Grizzly Mid FOLK, Yucca Moc Mid, and FBT Shaman. Por Vocacao has just taken stock of their largest ever drop from Buttero and it’s one worth checking out. Atop the list of products are two styles of their classic suede sneakers reworked for A/W ’12. Available in both a hi-top and low-top silhouette, the latest sneakers present the same quality construction the Italian brand is historically known for, with vegetable tanned leather (suede) uppers mounted on smooth style rubber soles and featured alongside contrast toe caps and other nifty details. For this AW12, however, Buttero have scuffed the soles a bit, giving the new sneakers a slightly broken-in look.

Lanvin’s known to make some fine womenswear, the Parisian fashion house has crafted exceptional attire for the menswear spectrum as well. They continue to deliver well-thought-out pieces made from the finest materials. The Torsade cap-toe dress shoe is no exception to this as it features different shades of navy leather throughout the shell while being complimented by a black heel and tone on tone stitching. The lace-ups are made in Italy and are available now through SSENSE.

Miami-based Del Toro presents their Margom Sole Collection. They’ve taken one of their most popular models, the Alto Chukka, and blessed it with a margom sole. It’s offered in either suede or leather across a range of colorways, while the margom sole is featured in either a flecked or multicolored variety. The fine details don’t stop there as it features a leather lined interior and leather laces to top things off. The Margom Sole Collection is available now in limited numbers through Del Toro.

Mr. McNairy has been quite busy as of late as the designer’s dished out a few collaborations and still manages to keep his own brand extremely relevant. His footwear offerings for Fall ’12 look exceptional and are offered up in a wide range of styles. We’re seeing brogue-style boots, tasseled loafers, saddle shoes and some monk straps as well. Some new textures are seen here as well including a denim shell while the uppers are complimented by crepe soles and even a few of the more vibrant variety. Portugal-based shop Por Vocacao continues to take stock of some exceptional product and is led by a team that’s not afraid to mix notable labels with brands we’ve never heard of. Though Green George has been mentioned were lightly in conversation, Por Vocacao will carrying an extensive lineup of footwear from their upcoming Fall 2012 collection. Green George originates from Montegranaro, one of the main places for shoe production in Italy and just opposite of Buttero’s Tuscany region. Oh, and they’ve been around since the 70s, making high quality footwear based on great craftsmanship while keeping up with current trends.

In the weeks ahead, expect Por Vocacao to stock Green George’s finest offerings including these double monks as well as a few derbys, waxy suede brogues and boots. More looks of the DB’s below.

With all the exciting things going on at this week’s Project tradeshow in NY, we were still making time to prowl for new, eye-catching product. We had the opportunity to chat with Javier Laval of Android Homme, an LA-based footwear brand. We’ve seen the label get some respectable coverage on various publications, online and off, but we hadn’t really gotten the opportunity to see what the brand was about. After speaking with Javier and getting a peek at what they’re delivering as part of their Holiday 2013 collection, we were beyond impressed. Though we can see some of the pieces be too eclectic for some of you guys out there, it’s important to focus on the attention to detail that goes into every single pair. We’re talking black/red pony hair mocs and python skin high-top sneakers.

Beyond the unparalleled level of creativity that’s being utilized by the Android Homme team, there’s also a high level of innovation. Some of the sneakers in their latest lineup feature an EVA sole that’s as light as a feather, which gives us a shoe that weights next to nothing. Android Homme continues to live in the future and it shows in the final product. We took some shots of our favorite styles below, so be sure to check them out below.
