Del Toro Shoes is showing at this week’s Project tradeshow in New York. The brand’s experienced very rapid growth rate as of late and they’re showing no signs of letting up. They’ve expanded the offerings quite a bit and their latest lineup includes chukkas with some exceptional detailing and a continuation of their foundation which was built on the velvet slipper. What we dig the most? Del Toro‘s cap toe shoes with some vibrant detailing as well as their double monks featuring camo uppers. Game. Over.

Here we have an early look at Lanvin’s accessory and footwear lineup from their S/S ’13 collection. The Parisian fashion house offers up an array of product ranging from a derby shoe with reinforced rubber soles alongside boots and single monks to well-made accessories in the form of leather belts, bracelets, camera bags and jewelry. Miami-based Del Toro has been delivering Italian-made footwear for quite sometime now and their rapidly increasing clientele list is a testament to the brand’s dedication to quality and modern, wearable design. Among the fan base is Brooklyn’s very own Theophilus London, one of the city’s most gifted and stylistic rappers to date. The two recently teamed up to craft a black velvet slipper that’s infused with some fine detailings. Note the embroidered rose crest as well as the golden stars on the side and a red LVRS heel tab to signal London’s own fashion brand. Look for these to be available in a very limited run for $350 through Five Story NYC in July.

Buttero has released their Ripple Sole boat shoe in two new color versions, both of which are fitted with supple leather and suede uppers mounted atop the brand’s trademark ripple sole for the current season. The boat shoe formula is pushed forward with a few well crafted details like the folded cuff used to channel the leather lacing, the hand sewing and stitching on the vamp or the contrast natural leather welt running around it.

The shoe is available in dark green leather and brown suede, matched with brown or blue soles and can be had now through Por Vocacao.

Kanye West’s second run with Nike in the form of the Air Yeezy II is set to release next month with details of the final colorway being recently unveiled. The Platinum colorway is shown here and features hand skived anaconda textured leather quarter panels that are fitted with a debossed Vac-Tech Nike Swoosh. The reptilian inspired spikes on the back are molded to perfection and are complimented with a strap to offer greater symmetry and lock down. The AY II’s take much inspiration from the Nike Air Tech Challenge II tennis shoe outsole and feature iconic Nike Cross Training silhouettes with the addition of the molded forefoot strap.

The detailing on the Air Yeezy II’s is phenomenal with a fine mix of leather, rugged ballistic nylon and soft nubuck. Other more subtle finishings include the hieroglyphic writing that spells out ‘YZY’ on a loop strap, as well as the obelisk shaped lace aglet screws, anaconda texture on the eyelets and the Roman numeral ‘II’ fitted leather lace toggle.

The Nike Air Yeezy II’s are set to release on June 9th in both the black and platinum colorways in very limited quantities.

Norwegian label SWIMS has announced its collaboration with Armani for their Fall 2012 collection. Known for reinventing the galosh, SWIMS has created a bespoke collection of modern day galoshes aligned with the unique artistry of Armani shoes. Armani is known for crafting high quality products and we’re certain the SWIMS galosh will be the perfect partner when it comes time to shield the goods from inclement weather conditions. Look for these SWIMS to be available at Armani boutiques this fall.

From n.d.c. comes this modern take on the famed espadrilles of generations past. They’ve taken the traditional canvas version to a whole new level of sophistication with the Theo. It’s made from super soft suede and features leather tassels, with the braided jute detailing still being maintained here. Here’s one Buttero’s standout pieces from their S/S 2012 collection — the ripple sole boat shoe. The upper is offered in either rich dark grey suede or china blue leather and feature Vibram’s Gumlite ripple soles, making them light and highly comfortable to walk on. With amazing attention to detail throughout the by-hand manufacturing process, we’re not surprised at how good the final product looks because we’d expect nothing less. FEIT has released a limited edition lineup of leather accessories as part of their hand sewn collection. The lineup — which includes a wallet made from Florentine leather in a vertical and horizontal style as well as a leather wrapped gun-metal shoehorn — is hand made in Italy. The pieces come in matching Italian vegetable-tanned leather available in Naturale, Corteccia and Nero. The wallets are made from a single piece of vegetable tanned calf skin with the final product being seamless and extremely practical. This 15 inch leather shoehorn is also wrapped in a single piece of vegetable tanned calf skin leather while the leather casing is hand molded and entirely seamless as well.

Buttero’s known for their impeccably crafted footwear and now the Tuscan shoemaker has teamed up with Dutch brand Denham for a small line of sneakers. The pieces feature vegetable-tanned leathers local to Buttero’s hometown of Stabbia and the brand’s roots show in the construction as each shoe is made via traditional methods. In order to give their new trainer-inspired designs an added dose of freshness, they have modified these styles for by integrating a pure white leather toe-piece, a minimalistic detail that’s exclusive to Denham.
