It’s been a short while since we heard from Wolverine last but we’re glad to be getting news of these beauties from their 1000 Mile line for Fall/Winter 2011. They’ve got two new additions to their Gentleman Collection. The Wickham is a brogue oxford that’s making its debut this season and looks exceptional in both black or tan. It features a hand-rubbed leather upper with swirling perforated detail and a subtle contrast color underlay. The Winchester is the taller brogue boot shown above and also comes in black or tan. It features a sheepskin lining while both feature Goodyear Welt construction and a Vibram Heel Lift.
SeaVees introduces their 08/61 Army Issue sneaker, one inpsired by the generic, all-purpose sporting footwear worn on base by soldiers in the 1960s. Uppers are made of soft nylon twill and are fitted with woven nylon laces and flat eyelets made from antique nickel. They’re lined with naturally antibacterial and hypoallergenic bamboo canvas to keep your feet dry and odor free. The sueded leather heel add comfort, with construction coming by way of SeaVees’ patented SeaVulc Natural Rubber manufacturing process that allows a casual shoe to be as comfortable as a sneaker.
I’m sure you’ve heard by now that Grenson and Barbour, two of the UK’s finest brands, have teamed up for a capsule collection for the ages. To start things off, Grenson has produced a limited range of footwear that focuses on quality and aesthetics over quantity. This collaboration represents the hundreds of skilled hand operations that go into both a pair of hand crafted shoes and a Barbour jacket. Look for the offerings to be available through a select number of retailers in extremely limited numbers.
Buttero have redesigned their hiking boot for Fall 2011, blessing them with premium suede uppers and sheep wool tongue and lining. These look undeniably comfortable and will surely deliver the warmth when time comes. They’re handcrafted in Italy and come in beige or brown. Fine details include brass eyelets with leather lacing and a contrast leather detail at heel. Leather midsoles and Vibram outsoles with stitched welt give these boots a solid foundation.
Here we have a look at Moncler V’s suede mountain boots for the fall and winter. The tricolor detailing on the mid-sole help to define the shoe while all other features and design work is effortless timeless. It takes some inspiration from the visvim Serra silhouette, for those of you that are familiar. They feature a waxed suede upper, calf leather lining, D-ring lacing system, leather mid-sole and heavy Vibram outer sole.
Some of the finest footwear we’ve seen in quite sometime, Feit’s limited edition “Hand Sewn Reconnaissance” collection for Spring 2012 features a few new models in a range of colorways. The Hand Sewn Superclean Low, High and Stitchown model combine specialized techniques such as hand-made Goodyear construction, with the heel construction of a hand sewn moccasin, and finishing in the shape and feel of a classic court sport sneaker, each style is built to completion by one master craftsman using the finest Italian leathers. From Norwegian brand SWIMS come these looks at their Spring 2012 lineup. They’re known for reinventing the modern galosh and has a tremendous lineup in the works. The offerings feature penny loafers as well as laceup loafers, all made from highly, waterproof materials. They’re extremely wearable and are available in a wide range of colors.
Mark McNairy’s New Amsterdam drops their Derby boot for F/W 2011 in a brown grain leather finish, designed by the man himself and produced in Northampton, England from high quality materials. The full leather cap toe and leather grain upper works well with the contrast woven laces, while the shoe’s full leather lining adds some much welcomed comfort.
From Wolverine‘s No. 1883 Collection comes their Mayall boot, a perfect addition for the fall and winter seasons ahead. The boot features a butter-soft full-grain leather upper and is lined with a textured, plaid woven print. The 8″ Mayall folds down to drop a couple inches and further adding to the boot’s versatility.

If you haven’t heard yet, Nike’s dropping the MAG sneaker, one you might remember from the 1989 Back to the Future II movie starring Michael J. Fox. Nike announced that 1500 pairs of this shoe will be auctioned on eBay, nikemag.eBay.com, with all net proceeds going directly to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. The auctions have begun and will end on September 18 with 150 pairs to be posted on eBay per day for 10 days.
