Globe-Trotter and camera maker Fujifilm have teamed up for a limited edition Vulcanised Fibreboard suitcase for the Fujifilm X-Pro1 from the FinePix X Series. It features brass rivets, locks, tan leather, and finished with ‘Harrods Exclusively’ embossed leather tags and brass plaques. Each case comes with an X-Pro1 camera, a flash, filter, and three lenses and lens hoods with exclusive availability through Harrods Technology for $9,040 USD.
The rumor mill is in full swing with Fujifilm’s X-Pro1 being outed on several sites. The successor to the X100, the X-Pro1 has been said to have a 16 MP APS-CMOS censor, hybrid view-finder, magnesium and alloy body and a full suite of accessories. It’s seen being packaged with a 18mm (27mm equivalent) f/2.0 and 35mm (53mm equivalent) f/1.4 lens as well as a larger 60mm lens. No concrete word on pricing just yet but rest assured the details will be out soon enough.
Fujifilm‘s dropped a promo video building up some anticipation for the X10 in the process. The video covers specs and just about everything else you’ll need to know about the camera. Some fine details and features to note include the metal Zoom Ring with built-in power switch, exposure control, a RAW button, full HD recording capabilities and super intelligent flash that takes things next level. Between this and the Finepix X100, the X series is looking like one of Fuji’s most sound collections.
