Handmade, you say? We love such craftsman and this duffle bag from Rogues Gallery is one that we’re quite fond of. Selectism tells us the brown leather bag is made in Portland, ME and features a heavy gauge two way zip closure, and “bad ass nautical grade hardware.” It’s sure to be durable, and with a  $900 pricetag, we wouldn’t expect anything less.

From San Francisco-based denim company Tellason comes their premium selvage 5 pocket jeans. They use selvage denim from the famous Cone Mills White Oak plant in Greensboro, North Carolina, which is then cut and sewn at the independent jean company’s San Fran location. The leather patch is made by Portland’s Tanner Goods. They’re a standard straight leg with a slim cut and blessed with some fine details like the leather patch from Tanner Goods. Also, there are only 240 pairs available, with each being individually numbered by hand.

Selectism turns us to this grey felt trilby made by Billkirk for J.Crew. “Quality is the theme on this hat. It is made in the USA and features a dulled brass buckle on the leather wrap. Nothing short of solid.” We couldn’t agree more. It’s an exclusive for J.Crew, and should be available at J.Crew’s Prince, Madison, Malibu and Lincoln Road locations.

Designed in collaboration with Andrew Todd, the Gentleman’s Cap from Rapha is an essential for the passionate cycler. Heck, it’s an essential for any man. Available in three exclusive designs, each cap style boasts its own unique signature features. The Feather cap is made from grey Melton wool and finished with a black grosgrain ribbon stripe down the centre. The Waxed cap, meanwhile, is water resistant, comes with its own enamel pin and is finished with mesh eyelets. The polka dot cap is rendered in a pattern familiar to fans and riders alike and is finished with a satin ribbon. All the caps have fully bound seams and are lined with anti-bacterial tape to wick sweat and keep your head dry.

Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair’s Crinkle Pocket tee is an interesting piece. The cotton/polyester blend makes for a soft feel with the crinkled jersey fabric making for a unique finish. What’s most intriguing is the asymmetrical 3D pocket, as its noticeable even with the deep green color of the tee.

The winter season really brings out some great pieces. GQ highlights our favorite — wool ties. We prefer to keep them slim and heavy, and in an array of designs. Bergdorf Goodman’s Men’s Department has a large selection this year with “tables upon tables full of the season’s best”. Highlighted labels include Alexander Olch, Joel McHale and Thom Browne.

A premium collaboration with Italian-based Limoland, this re-creation of a Penfield classic Kasson jacket is a must-have for the winter season. The outer shell is in a heavy weight wool blend which is water resistant and highly durable, perfect for the harsh winter that’s upon us. “The cuff straps are in a contrasting colour, aswell as the lining of the pocket flaps, colour pops being typical of Limoland’s design principle.  The jacket lining is in a complimentary tartan plaid and features an embroidered Limoland logo on the sleeve”. The Kasson is now available at Hanon.

Just in at Oki-Ni are a few fine pieces from Resistance, including this very soft mid-weight angora and wool mix intarsia cardigan.
