A.P.C. celebrated their 25 year anniversary the other night with a party at their Soho boutique in New York. Afrika Bambaataa was spinning and this video was playing in the background. Founded in 1987 by Tunisian born Designer Jean Touitou A.P.C. quickly gained a cult following among Parisians and New Yorker’s for its minimalist designs and high-quality Japanese selvage denim. The design hasn’t lost his touch over the years as the brand continues to innovate and deliver on everything that’s made A.P.C. what it is today.

The Brooklyn Nets and adidas Originals have teamed up for a premium capsule collection in celebration of the Nets finding a new home and vision. Featured in the line up is a wool jacket, t-shirt, crewneck, a custom USB drive, as well as a limited edition Schott x Kith Brooklyn carryall duffel. The details are immense and the best part is that all proceeds from the limited edition sports bag will go directly to helping Hurricane Sandy victims.

British brand Sunspel has collaborated with Postalco to produce a limited edition collection of notebooks, wallets and cardholders. The inspiration behind the offerings is a prototype fabric sketch conceived by a Sunspel technician in the 1950s. All pieces were handcrafted in Japan, where Postalco is now based.

Available through Sunspel.com, the card holder retails for $217, notebook for $82.60 and the wallet for $273.

Alexander Wang drops this double breasted pea coat for F/W 2012. The coat’s got an all-black wool shell with asymmetric paneling which Wang dubs “shattered patchwork”. Key areas of the coat are also fitted with leather detailing. Expect the fine details to go along way with the top-level craftsmanship we’ve come to expect from Alexander Wang. This coat can be had through RESTIR in Japan as well as other select retailers.

Nike Sportswear is known to blend classic Nike styling with modern function and detail and the Free Woven NRG’s show the brand delivering a damn-near perfect pair of sneakers. The shell features a mix of leather and synthetic materials to a create a more texture and dynamic silhouette. The 3.0 take much inspiration from past Free Woven NRG, but this time aroung, NSW’s added a Free outsole. These will be available at JUICE in Hong Kong on November 1 for $1,439 HKD (approximately $185 USD). (via hypebeast)

COMME des GARCONS has crafted three new wallets exclusively for Parisian outpost colette. The pieces are made from black polyurethane with zippered closures and a multicolored stars motif throughout, offered up in your choice of two pouches in different sizes or a wallet that offers both card and bill slots in addition to a coin pouch with a buttoned closure. The collection can be purchased both in-store and online now from colette.

The New England brand continues to deliver top-notch product for the winter with impeccably crafted outerwear in an array of extremely wearable colorways. From Japan comes STUDIOUS, a multi-label store originating in Tokyo. The retailer’s grown steadily over the last four years and now has 10 locations across the country. All product is sourced locally, with its brands based in Tokyo and ranging from FACTOTUM and REGAL to JAM HOME MADE and master-piece. Their Fall/winter 2012 lookbook showcases the store’s fine products in some well-styled shots. Look for parkas, peacoats and other outerwear pieces being carefully matched with woven shirts, cropped or slouch trousers, and suspenders.

Here, we have initial looks at H&M’s latest collaborative effort with a luxury fashion house, this time teaming up with Maison Martin Margiela for a series of Fall/Winter offerings. Rather than crafting something from scratch, MMM will be remaking pieces from their archives. Standout items include slim suiting and a double breasted coat in a rich camel finish. The Maison Martin Margiela for H&M collection will land in stores and online on November 15.
