Black Scale and Golden Bear have teamed up to make a few colorways of the Deluxe Varsity Jacket. Details are immense as the two-tone shells feature leather and wool paneling as well as snap-button closure, hip pockets, and internal pockets. Striped cuffs, collar and waistband add to the authenticity. The varsity jacket will come in green with red, orange with grey and black on black. Look for this limited edition collaboration to be available starting June 1 through Black Scale flagship stores as well as through their online store.

Golden Bear and San Francisco’s Unionmade team up once again, this time for the Bodega pea coat. It comes in navy and red, both with contrasting elbow patches and full grain leather trim. They’re made in San Fran’s Potrero Hill with the utmost attention to detail. More looks below.

Here’s another solid offering from Golden Bear, this time in the form of their Seaside Jacket. It’s made in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill and features a 100% cotton corduroy shell and features leather trimmings throughout. The ribbed cuffs, collar and bottom give way for added insulation and look great in the contrasting mustard yellow.

For the current Spring 2011 season, Unionmade introduces a few new additions to their ongoing collaboration with Golden Bear. There are a few varsity jackets as expected but the duos have introduced two varsity vests this time around as well. All pieces feature a duck canvas shell and cotton lined body while the vests feature cowhide-trimmed shoulders. Golden Bear’s fit for this collaboration is known to be on the slimmer side, something we don’t often see in varsity jackets these days.

Unionmade’s collaborative efforts with fellow Bay Area resident Golden Bear continues with this impeccably crafted pea coat. It’s a traditionally styled double breasted pea coat with leather bound pockets and a button collar closure. The best thing about this pea coat is the fit. They’ve trimmed it down to take away the boxy appearance we’re used to seeing with pea coats.

Unionmade recently teamed up with San Francisco-based Golden Bear for a new set of wool varsity jackets and this chocolate on chocolate piece just happen to catch our attention. It’s made in San Fran’s Potrero district by a company that’s been around since the 1920′s. The jackets feature some great detailing such as leather pocket details, wrist guards and cotton rib while coming in a slimmer cut to keep up with the times.
