Profound Aesthetic is at it again, this time dropping their “Beauty in the Wild” collection. The late summer offerings range from tees, polos and tanks to must-have accessories like leather wristwear and snapbacks. It’s all really great stuff but their 5-panel hats stood out to us the most. There’s an animalistic element to the Cheetah-print variety but softer floral-print options are tossed into the mix as well. Our favorite? The maroon paisley hat. It’s made from a cotton shell and features a brown suede brim that’s meshed with a green under-visor. Talk about striking gold. All the goods are available now through Profound Aesthetic but you can them at select retailers as well, Urban Outfitters and Nordstrom included.

Introducing The Genesis Project, a small brand that’s dropping some of the most creatively designed snapbacks we’ve seen since… well, ever. The Floral Collection is well thought-out and there’s some magnificent detailing throughout the hats. Hints of lambskin leather and ultra suede can be found on the back closure as well as a gold buckle. The majority of the styles utilize an American Needle but there are Mitchell & Ness snapbacks in there as well. Look for these to drop soon through The Genesis Online for $100 each.

London Undercover has been systematically expanding their lineup as of late and the latest addition to the British label’s offerings is their hat collection. With three styles available and a few different colorways on deck, we’re sure there’s one you’ll dig. The Pigeon Bowler hat happens to be our favorite as it’s extremely versatile and the black fur felt shell just looks so damn good.
All three styles — Pigeon Bowler, London Trilby and Mayfair Foldaway — are available exclusively through London Undercover’s online store but look for the pieces to hit in store as well in the coming weeks and months.

There are plenty of ways to stay warm during the winter but Borsalino’s line of headwear happens to be one of the most durable and versatile. Their Legionnaire hat is a prime example of this as it’s as warm as it is functional. The hat features fold down ear flaps & a short bill, and is made from a heather wool mix fabric.

Just in time for this cold weather (and of course the Holidays), Los Angeles-based Aether Apparel has released some fine winter accessories to help us get through the coldest of days. Atop the list is Aether’s 100% cashmere hat which features a fisherman’s rib stitch. It’s available in a black or charcoal finish. The company’s latest scarf is a great pickup as it’s made from a two-layer construction and is reversible with contrasting colors. The scarf’s also 100% cashmere and comes in a charcoal/black or charcoal/navy color combination.
The standout piece from Aether’s latest batch of accessories has to be their first ever travel bag. It’s waterpoof, resistant to extreme temperatures, abrasion and cracks, and is made from heavy duty composite material normally used on skirts of hovercraft vehicles. Yes, hovercrafts.
These fine products alongside the rest of Aether Apparel’s fall collection, are available now online and in select retailers.

For the past 130 plus years, the John B. Stetson company has been crafting high-quality, extremely functional hats. The longevity of the brand is a testament to the iconic brand’s dedication to detail and consistent design ethos. For the fall, they’ve linked up with Billy Reid for eleven hats for men, women and some for both.
The collection ranges from dead stock wool fedoras, nutria constructed trapper toboggans, to English driving caps with leather tie secured convertible ear flaps. Our favorite is the Conway, a waxed cotton fishing cap with a distressed leather live cut raw edge bill. It’s lined with heirloom pillow ticking and the interior drop-down convertible ear flap is lined in wool tweed jacquard for added warmth.
The collection is available now at Billy Reid.

![Borsalino Rain-Proof Hats [Made in Italy] Borsalino Rain-Proof Hats [Made in Italy]](http://www.porhomme.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/borsalino-italy-hats-fur-felt-fw09-1.jpg)
In May of 2008, the West Village became home to shoe shop Leffot, in what has proven to be one happy marriage. Since then, they’ve come to offer a fine selection of men’s footwear, from labels we know and love, like Alden and Wolverine. They also offer acessories as well as a limited range of women’s footwear. Italy’s Borsalino is known for crafting some of the world’s finest hats, and although some may cost as much as some of the footwear, we think they’re well worth the investment. The fur felt varieties Leffot recently got in stock are water repellent, meaning you can go “Singin’ in the Rain” without many worries.
The hats are available in taupe or black. Head over to 10 Christopher Street or email info@leffot.com with any inquiries you may have.

Selectism turns us to this grey felt trilby made by Billkirk for J.Crew. “Quality is the theme on this hat. It is made in the USA and features a dulled brass buckle on the leather wrap. Nothing short of solid.” We couldn’t agree more. It’s an exclusive for J.Crew, and should be available at J.Crew’s Prince, Madison, Malibu and Lincoln Road locations.

The polka dot cap is rendered in a pattern familiar to fans and riders alike and is finished with a satin ribbon. All the caps have fully bound seams and are lined with anti-bacterial tape to wick sweat and keep your head dry.
Rapha actually did a Q&A with Mr. Todd which you can read here. The hats are currently available at Rapha for $60.
