Hyden Yoo is showing at this week’s Project tradeshow in NYC and we’ve got some early looks at all the New York designer has to offer. Lightweight knits dominate the collection alongside well-made blazers all atop a vibrant color palette. There’s a good mix of product and with the past collections being as successful as they have been, there’s no doubt this run will be just as memorable.
There are plenty of peacoats out there and we’ve mentioned a few others in recent weeks. The Kaiser peacoat by Hyden Yoo caught our attention due to its melton wool shell and the double breasted closure. The dark navy color is definitely a plus as well as it breaks away from the black peacoats we’re accustomed to seeing out in the wild.

The cat’s out the bag, my friends. The Fashionisto turns us to Hyden Yoo‘s Spring 2010 lookbook, a fine viewing to say the least. “The lookbook features Ford model Joe Edney and showcases Yoo’s constant aesthetic that we have become accustomed to. A model example of American menswear today, Yoo offers a modest color palette, clean design, quality fabrics and impeccable workmanship at an affordable price.”

We love hearing from Blackbird because we know that whatever they send our way is going to put a smile on our face. The Cashmere Chelsea Sweater by Hyden Yoo has done nothing short of that. It has black and gray diagonal stripes that are quite subtle. It’s knitted with a black double breasted placket and has pewter crested buttons.
Did we mention its versatility? Wear it the collar up, down or unbuttoned. The result’s going to be the same regardless: timeless.
