The space features all the latest WIP offerings including all collaborative efforts currently on deck. The shop’s design is refreshing as wooden panels throughout give us a glimpse into key events that have occurred throughout Carhartt’s history, including the brand’s establishment in 1889 and the creation of Work in Progress in ’94. Yesterday marked the opening of the GQ at Park & Bond Holiday pop-up shop. The two have been working together through GQ’s shop on the Park & Bond site but this is the first time you’ll see both GQ and Park & Bond commanding a brick and mortar space. So what can you expect in terms of products? Well, there’s a lot to cover including “GQ Selects,” a selection of products handpicked from the pages of the magazine by the editors; GQ’s “Best Stuff of the Year,” as featured in the December issue; and a specially curated selection of products from Park & Bond, including the best designer brands for outerwear, apparel, denim, accessories, footwear, watches (new and vintage), tech, grooming products, and much more.
There’s a wide selection of impulse buys as well, all of which are priced under $50. The holiday shopping season is definitely in full effect. And beyond all this goodness, you can also expect to see a lot of what can be found through Park & Bond’s online site. It’s a diverse bunch with brands like A.P.C., Filson, GANT, Jack Spade, Mackintosh, Thom Browne and many more in the fold.
Presented in partnership with American Express, the temporary retail experience will be open through December 18, though it will be closed this coming Monday and Tuesday. Open from 11am to 6pm Wednesday to Friday, 11am to 7pm Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sunday. More looks of the space below.

In part 1 of our week with the new 2012 Mercedes-Benz C350 Coupe, we gave you all a look at the exterior of the newly designed beauty. We drove the C350 Coupe everywhere — work, play, errands and, yes, shopping. We can go to the mall anytime but we really wanted to see how the car would handle on a slightly longer distance and so we decided to take our first ever trip to Woodbury Commons Premium Outlets. It’s a short while outside of New York City and the drive is as relaxing as it is scenic. We won’t be disclosing what we bought but here’s how it all went down.

In the few decades since the brand’s inception, Lamborghini has had its fair share of ups and downs. It wasn’t until Audi took the brand over in 1998 that the Italian carmaker saw some dramatic shifts in future development. Though one of Germany’s finest took the company over, Lamborghini remains to be headquartered in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy. WIRED gives us an inside look at the original offices opened by Ferruccio Lamborghini back in 1963.

Christabel Jay is in his final year at the University of Lincoln studying Contremporary Lens Media. I came across his Flickr page a short while back and really think she did a phenomenal job capturing the Grenson Shoe Factory in the UK. The shots cover the some of the skilled workers behind those handmade beauties and give us a visual of the atmosphere in which they perform.
