One of the finest blazers we’ve seen for the fall comes from Isaia. Dubbed the Doubleface “Aqua Cashmere” blazer, this two-button masterpiece is “exquisitely tailored in the Italian tradition” and has all the proper detailings we’ve come to expect from the Neapolitan master.
Isaia’s Fall 2011 lookbook has dropped, giving us some impeccably-styled shots from the Neopolitan tailoring house. The color palette’s really expanded this time around as the label’s really beginning to test the creative waters when it comes to such details. Look for a wide range of three-piece suits for the colder months ahead. (via Men of Habit)
MW drops the third installment in ACL’s Made in Italy Tour, this time giving us a look inside the workspace of Isaia located on the outskirts of Napoli. Isaia is a family-run business as it was founded in 1957 by Enrico Isaia and is now helmed by the designer’s grandson Gianluca Isaia. The majority of folks that work in production are second or third generation tailors, with the craft being in their blood. As for the factory, it’s a two-story building that’s “tucked away in an unmarked alley with a large gate.”
