San Fran’s Union gotten their first shipment of Junya Watanabe Man items for the fall and the Jake Davis was lucky enough to get an exclusive first look. The range is  impeccable, with plenty of high-fashion aesthete mixed with good ol’ craftsmanship, a combination that’ll continue to influence the mass market brands for seasons moving forward. The fabric and print combos are mind-blowing, with camo makes its way onto plenty of staple items including jersey sweatshirts, a houndstooth scarf and even to the inside of a pair of denims.

Much of the gear from Junya Watanabe for next spring takes inspiration from classic French sailing attire and when you pair timeless gear like boat shirts and white pants with a pair of white bucks, we notice. “A jolt of American mid-century hipster attitude that results in white bucks paired with cropped blazers, and more.”

Highsnobiety turns us to Comme des Garcons Junya Watanabe MAN’s collaboration with The North Face to craft a few pieces for the current F/W season. “Complementing their hunting and outdoor inspired offering of the season, they produced in collaboration with The North Face a vest in several colorways, as well as two coats. And so it begins, my friends. August has begun, meaning all our favorite retailers are beginning to rollout fall + winter collections for the upcoming seasons. Hypebeast turns us to Junya Watanabe‘s 2010 Spring Ready-to-Wear collection, consisting of some highly-anticipated pieces. “The lineup, defined as snobby by the famed designer, paired a variety of essentials into a comprehensive collection of contemporary menswear. Highlighting the new seasonal selections from Watanabe were finely crafted trench coats, blazers, and jackets accented with crisp fitted shirts and trousers.” Is that a gingham blazer/hat combo we see?
