Maison Kitsuné designer Masaya Kuroki has delivered another exceptional collection. The label’s Fall 2012 collection keeps its Parisian roots in play while blending in some inspiration from the British Tweed Run. As always, special attention is given to the choice of fabrics and the tailoring of the garments through strategic sourcing of factories that still value artisan methods. Timeless wears that are exceptionally designed and well-made.
This collection won’t be hitting shelves for months down the line but I don’t think I can wait that long for the Maison Kitsuné x New Era cap showcased throughout the looks.

From Parisian label Kitsune comes an exceptionally well-designed collection for Fall 2011 entitled, “Brokeback Mountain”. Though we initially weren’t sure what the folks had in mind when choosing this title, checking out the offerings shows it definitely takes some inspiration from the movie among other things. “The collection itself beyond the inspiration and title could be construed as that of a “refined urban cowboy,” with some definitive workwear pieces you’d find on a ranch in addition to well-tailored pieces suitable for the city.” (via HB)

Fashion illustrator Jean-Philippe Delhomme is the genius behind Parisian label Kitsuné‘s very first ad campaign for the new fall 2010 collection entitled, “Ivy League”. His work’s been featured in the Los Angeles Time Magazine, GQ France, GQ USA and many others and this may be his finest work yet. He made four colorful and theatrical paintings presenting Masaya Kuroki’s collection with the “witty, derisive and elegant” touch the label envisioned.
