The market’s been flooded with baseball jackets, but this one from Lacoste adds some great detailing, something we never tend to overlook. The knitted wool shell is in navy and is insulated with a diamond quilt lining. The classic ribbed baseball collar and the press stud closure are all standard baseball jacket details but this iconic piece of clothing is really topped off with the Lacoste crocodile on left chest.

United Arrows x Lacoste for a slimmer polo shirt

Japanese label and boutique United Arrows collaborates with French brand Lacoste to create a special range of polos that are slimmer and a bit more refined than the original. The polos include the gray Lacoste crocodile logo as opposed to the usual green version.

Oriental meets Western: Christophe Lemaire’s Spring/Summer 2009 collection

The man that revamped Lacoste’s vision as Creative Director of the French label has now ventured onto his own men’s line. Christophe Lemaire’s collection for Spring/Summer 2009 is redefines the fusion of eastern and western traditions, leaving silhouettes behind to create unisex pieces in a neutral, subtle colour palette with matt tones and typical Japanese materials from the 70s. 

We don’t expect everyone to find the line appealing, but you can always respect a creative mind.
