To celebrate the 90th anniversary of the legendary Le Mans 24 Hours endurance race and the 10th anniversary of the British brand’s victory there in 2003, Bentley has announced limited edition models of the Mulsanne and Continental models. Six specs have been created to celebrate each of the six Bentley Boys who have won the race over the years. 48 examples of each ‘Le Mans Limited Edition’ model are being produced. Each car will have a unique Le Mans Edition numbered badge, Le Mans Edition clock face, embroidered Le Mans badge to each headrest, tread plates with the limited edition name, unique Le Mans Edition wheels and specific interior veneers and exterior colours.

Continental GT models will be available in the second quarter of 2013 with Mulsanne Le Mans Edition models available beginning in the third quarter. Bentley has also created a microsite to drop all the details around these limited edition beauties while also shedding more light on the brand’s history at Le Mans.

To mark its 65th anniversary, Land Rover has presented a new special edition Defender dubbed “LXV”, the Roman numeral for 65. The LXV is based on the standard Defender Hard Top and is equipped with a 2.2-liter diesel engine pushing out 120 horsepower and 265 lb-ft or torque while being mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The British automaker finished off this Special Edition with a Santorini Black pain body that’s pinned against the Corris Grey roof, grille, headlight surrounds and facia. The Defender LXV also fitted with 16-inch Sawtooth alloy wheels and features special badges and a union flag decal on the tail gate. The interior features full leather seats with “LXV” embossed front headrests and unique orange contrast stitching on the seats, steering wheel and center cubby.

The Land Rover Defender LXV Special Edition is available in limited quantities in Great Britain with a starting price of £28,765 GBP or approx. $44,671 USD.

To commemorate its 50th anniversary, Lamborghini has released the Aventador LP720-4 50 Anniversario Edition. Originally slated to be unveiled later this month at the Shanghai Motor Show, the 710-horsepower behemoth will come in a yellow and black paint job (may be customizable) and boast a 2.9-second 0-to-62-mph time and top speed of 217 miles per hour. The special carbon fiber aero kit has a hand in this as it’s said to be 50 percent more efficent. Preliminary reports say only 100 of these will be made.

To mark the opening of the Daimaru Shinsaibashi Leica store in Osaka, Japan, Leica has released the X2 in a white leather shell with all the quality and detail the Leica brand has to offer. The X2 packs 16.2 megapixels and comes with a 24mm Leica Elmarit lens. Only 100 pieces of this limited edition camera will be available at the Osaka Leica shop on Wednesday, March 13th.

Nike Sportswear gives us a look at their Lunar Solstice Mid SP White Label Pack, which is set to release for Spring/Summer 2013. White Label is also known as the “Made in Italy Collection” with this drop being a mid-top hybrid edition of the classic Air Solstice upper and a plush Lunarlon sole for added comfort and support. The Nike Lunar Solstice Mid is a limited edition release and will come in either a navy or bright blue colorway with nylon, mesh, suede and leather construction. Finer details include the its natural leather lining and embossed “NSW” branding on the insoles.

Look for the Nike Lunar Solstice Mid SP White Label Pack to be available in very limited numbers through select NSW stockists.

BMW and Milan-based Zagato have teamed for this one-off beauty which is set to presented at this year’s Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. Under the hood, you’ll find a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 that dishes out an impressive 400 ponies. It’s based on the current Z4 but features a more aggressive appeal and Zagato’s signature trademark double-bubble roof as well as a sliced-off rear. Other fine details include deep grooved side vents, the Z-filled grille, and an oversized Z found in silver below the side vents. There have been quiet rumblings of the possibility of the BMW Zagato Coupe being available in a limited run, but nothing’s been etched just yet.

Nudie Jeans has unveiled their limited edition ‘Woad/Guado’ collection, a 100% organic 6-piece line dyed from the ancient ‘Woad’ plant and available exclusively at Nudie Jeans House in LA as well as Atrium NYC. The dying of each piece is extremely involved and requires a lot of attention to detail. The Italian-made collection comprises of a Grim Tim jean style, High Khaki, Chambray shirt, Jacket, long-sleeved Henley and short-sleeved tee-shirt, all in the signature blue shade.

Production’s extremely limited with only 700 pieces available worldwide. Each garment is uniquely customized with a ‘Woad/Guado’ stamp and individually numbered from 1-700. The ‘Woad/Guado’ line is available this Friday through Nudie Jeans House and Atrium NYC. International boutiques that will carry the goods include 14 Ounce Berlin, Tinue de Nimes Amsterdam, Liberty London and A-Place in Stockholm.

IWC has made a one-of-one timepiece to honor Muhammad Ali at this month’s annual Celebrity Fight Night event. The event was founded in 1994 by Jimmy Walker as a means to raise money for local Arizone charities. This magnificent watch comes is white gold and features a black face with red Super-LumiNova, and a black alligator leather strap in red that’s meant to represent the hue of traditional boxing gloves. There’s a special inscription that reads “Edition Muhammad Ali, ONE OUT OF ONE.” on the case back alongside Ali’s signature. The ‘Muhammad Ali’ Big Pilot’s Watch will be auctioned off at the event on March 24th with all proceeds going to charity.
