Japanese label Markaware unveils its F/W ’12 collection through their seasonal lookbook. With inspiration coming from Claude Lelouch’s 1966 French classic film A Man and a Woman, or Un Homme et une Femme, the collection blends sartorial essentials such as tailored coats, fine suiting in heavier weights for the colder months ahead, and other fine pieces to complement the core offerings such as fitted shirts and pants. Dazed Digital gives us shots from Mark McNairy’s S/S 2013 lookbook. The New Amsterdam collection for next year is looking quite promising as it blends some modern styling atop classic staples with which the New York designer’s name is synonymous. Here’s McNairy’s line of the year:

Formal tailoring has stuck around for a reason. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it, but if you don’t have fun then you shouldn’t be fuckin’ doing it.

With that being said, the unconventional blend of fabrics and prints is like a breath of fresh air to a menswear spectrum that seems a bit too “by the book” at times. More imagery can be found below.

Here, we have looks at Onia’s Summer ’12 lookbook. The imagery showcases the brand’s men’s and boy’s lines side by side as a father and son duo hit the water for some fun in the sun. The folks at A King of Guise give us a much-welcomed preview of their “Viva la Mexico” collection. The offerings are influenced by the Mexican artifacts found at the Weltkulturen Museum of Frankfurt and feature some of AKOG’s finest pieces infused with new fabrics and colorways. We spied the label’s reversible bomber in a rich tan finish that looks like a must-have. Expect the collection to release through AKOG’s webstore soon.

Dubbed, “Desertion”, the collection features a strong military influence It’s done right here and we wouldn’t mind having a few of the pieces in our closet. Italian label Marni drops styled looks of their upcoming Fall/Winter 2012 collection. The offerings are balanced and well-designed with fit and precision defining the lineup. Dark colors lead the charge though there’s a hint of color seen through shirting and accessories.

We’ve got looks from CAMO’s S/S 2013 collection courtesy of the folks at We Are The Market. Italian designer Stefano Ughetti has crafted another phenomenal lineup, this time delivering lightweight suiting as well as a few other pieces on a more summer appropriate color palette. “Stripes punctuate the collection, and bold red highlights update the looks. Here we have a look at Burberry Prorsum’s Resort 2013 collection. With shots of both the men’s and women’s lines on display, we get a chance to see the label’s exceptional styling and layering for the winter months ahead. Aloha Rag has taken the liberty of crafting a lookbook for Rick Owens’ S/S 2012 collection. The styling is in-line with the labels style ethos — a bit of edge and a ton of luxury. The Italian-made pieces themselves are exceptionally crafted as always and feature some amazing textures this time around, including snake skin leathers. Some styles from the women’s line are showcased throughout the lookbook as well.
