The adidas SLVR line drops looks at their Fall 2012 collection, giving us a some really wearable product. Though athletic wear is the brand’s strength, their more recent offerings give us a good mix of that plus more casual offerings such as leather jackets for both men and women as well as pants, sweaters, blazers, and highly functional outerwear.
Virginia’s Need Supply Co. has dropped an extensive lookbook, highlighting some of the product they’re carrying for the spring season. Some of the brands in the mix for Spring 2012 include Soulland, Shades of Grey, Oliver Spencer, and Band of Outsiders. Shop the goods online or in-store at Need Supply Co.
Left Field sent over some shots of their 2012 denim collection in action. The all-black everything look never gets old and this lookbook is a testament to that. It was shot in Greenpoint, Brooklyn by photographer Liz Brinkley, and includes all of this year’s denim styles, including the $175 Cone Mills Greaser Jean, the Heavy Nisshinbo Greaser Jean, and the brand new Collect Sulfur-dyed Black Greaser Jeans. Each pair is handcrafted to perfection in the good ol’ US of A and priced well at $175 a pair. Shop the complete denim lineup at Left Field.
We recently gave you the A Kind of Guise Fall 2012 preview but here’s what they’re offering up for the upcoming spring and summer seasons. The pieces are really solid and come in a really inviting color palette. Look for a good mix of blues and a pop of salmon here and there as well. There’s some great shirting, chinos in an array of colors, as well as some mid-weight outerwear pieces that will surely catch your attention.
Well, looks like we’re about to have a few days of summer here in the Northeast, whereas a lot of other areas in the states have already gotten a taste of warmth. It’s the perfect time to go invest in some solid swimwear and we’d look no further than Onia. The New York based brand has been steadily expanding their offerings and have delivered all the goods you’ll need to toss into your beach bag, including the bag itself.
A few more looks below though click on over to Onia to get right down to business. We suggest the label’s classic Calder fit. They can also be found in select Bloomingdales, Barney’s and Ritz Carlton locations.
Here we have a look at Pierre Balmain, the younger line from Parisian label Balmain, and their Fall 2012 lookbook. They’ve really hit some winter essentials spot on by blending timeless designs with finer detailings of leather and warm shearling. The biker jacket stood out to us immediately as did the narrow-lapel blazers and tailored trousers. With inspiration coming from Italian and French films of the 50s and 60s, there’s a ton of authenticity, something we’ll continue to expect from Pierre Balmain for many seasons to come.
London-based designer Ozwald Boateng had an exceptional showing at last week’s London Fashion Week. Though his Fall 2012 collection is not as vibrant as we’ve seen from him in season’s past, it’s still one to keep an eye on for next winter. The warm fabrics and muted tones play well together while the cuts deliver a well-crafted lineup of goods. The Japanese-inspired aesthetics blend well with the British roots of the label and make for some must-have offerings.
Here we have Spring 2012 looks from Ralph Lauren’s Denim & Supply line, offering up another solid mix of product for the warmer months ahead. This season, Denim & Supply channels the adventurous spirit of Cape Cod and the earthy and bohemian air of Baja with a rugged, effortless style. The denim’s delivered in an array of softly washed colors and textures in a palette of ivory and indigo while other pieces such as lightweight knits, bleached fleece and distressed outerwear add to the nautical theme of the collection.
Look for Denim & Supply to be available through Macy’s as well as DenimandSupply.com.
GQ‘s gotten first looks at Norse Projects’ Spring 2012 lookbook. We turned you to the illustrations of the collection a short while back but here the collection comes to live. The Scandinavian label brings forth a ton of great product for the warmer months ranging from lightweight outerwear to a backpack collaboration with Ally Capellino.
