The Mackintosh x Converse collaboration was announced not too long ago and we’re excited to see the product beginning to hit select shops. The Jack Purcell Johnny sneaker is did up in the traditional waterproof rubberized cloth from Mackintosh. The shoes come in navy, putty and dark olive with contrasting interiors and clean, matching laces and a contrasting set as well.

This is real and will go down as one of our favorite collabs in quite sometime. Don’t hesitate to pull the trigger.

There is much to love about a Mackintosh coat and while the company’s longstanding reputation is never in question, it never hurts to state why their coats are so special. For one, they’re handmade in Scotland with 100% bonded cotton cloth. All of the seams are hand taped and the fabric is completely waterproof. Don’t expect any April showers to get through this layer of protection. This Duncan is a 3/4 length and comes in a navy blue finish as well.

It’s all in the details with this one. Woolrich John Rich & Bros. drops this Mac trench coat in a navy blue finish, giving us a water-resistant short trench that fits well and delivers all the protection we’ll need from Mother Nature. The coat features three front pockets (two with hidden magnetic closures at the sides and one large hunting pocket with taped zipper closure), working button cowl at the collar, and epaulets and adjustable wrist straps attached with hidden magnets to avoid tearing if snagged.

Edifice x Mackintosh x Lavenham Weatherwear Collection

Japan label Edifice has unveiled their Weatherwear collection, a collaboration with Mackintosh and Lavenham that’s blessed the loyalists with a lineup of quilted jackets. The styles are made of nylon and even tweed (above), with the collection being limited to Japan only (no surpise here). Selectism tells us it has yet to hit the online market getting your hands on one of these quilted jackets will be no easy task. Best of luck.
