Pre-Inauguration festivities: Manifest Hope in DC
There’s alot going on this weekend as everyone’s gearing up for the inauguration on Tuesday. In Washington D.C., Yosi Sergant and Shepard Fairey have already kicked off their art show: Manifest Hope. NotCot is there to cover the event which will be running from today until the Monday.
The focus of Manifest Hope: DC is three themes… Manifest Change – Health Care Reform, Manifest Unity – Workers’ Rights, and Manifest Opportunity – The Green Economy. 15 of the works shown were voted on by the online community from a pool of over a thousand.
