The label’s Wool Sports Jacket takes inspiration from an old school varsity jacket from the 1930′s and comes in a herbal green finish. GQ’s 2012 Best New Menswear Designers in America have been tapped to craft capsule collections with American giant Gap and we’ve now got first looks at the offerings. Ian Velardi, Todd Snyder, Saturdays Surf, BLK DNM, Ovadia & Sons, and Mark McNairy New Amsterdam will drop their own offerings for this limited-edition drop that’s set to release on September 27th. Drumohr and Nick Wooster have collaborated for this this impeccably crafted mid-layer piece for fall and winter months ahead. The British knitwear brand was founded by James Paterson in southern Scotland in the 1700s and has been revered by British and European royals for decades. Nick Wooster teamed up with Drumohr to bring out the creativity with some amazing details inspired by US university wear and wintersports across a foray of products. One of the stand outs is this down padded cashmere hooded waistcoat, in traditional snowflake pattern matching.

Brooks Brothers has dropped a damn-near perfect varsity jacket for the fall. The brushed wool shell features slew of authentic detailing reminiscent of a throwback college varsity jacket. The Brooks navy body works really well with the contrasting leather sleeves, ribbed stripe mock neck collar, bottom hem, and pocket detailing. The jacket also features full quilted lining with two interior pockets.

Here we have a look at J.Lindeberg‘s Spring/Summer 2013 collection presented during New York Fashion Week. The label really aims to take it back to their Scandinavian roots and the “Swedish from above” theme for the season is spot on with the delivery. The offerings range from fine suiting in shades of blue and beige to nylon and leather outerwear layered effortlessly in the styled shots. S/S ’13 is also the first time the women’s line was showcased in North America and as the Swedish brand has really made some great strides over the years, the timing is just right.

Earlier today, New York-based Public School presented their S/S ’13 collection during an eventful Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week here in NYC. The inspiration behind their latest lineup is “structure” as they looked to classic architectural forms to help frame the collection both historically and figuratively.
We examined the concept of “structure” and how it exists contextually within society.We were very interested how a delicate balance and network of relationships helped to form structure and provide a base in which all law and order was supported.

Nordstrom and GQ have teamed up for a pop-up shop in New York during MBFW. The store will feature GQ Selects: a selection of apparel, accessories, gifts, and more, curated by the editors of GQ, along with Tommy Fazio, men’s fashion director, Nordstrom. In addition to carrying more than 50+ brands, the shop will also include a Warby Parker shop, complimentary shaves by Freeman’s Sporting Club, a Stumptown coffee bar, and more.
GQ & Nordstrom Men’s Shop is located at the Nordstrom owned Treasure & Bond store at 350 West Broadway between Grand and Broome. The pop up shop will be open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 8pm and on Sunday from 11am to 7pm. There are some great events taking place at the shop, all of which we’ve listed for your below. Things kick off with the Launch Party on Fashion’s Night Out tonight, September 6th.
