Highsnobiety gives us a look at the complete range of accessories from Givenchy‘s Pre-Fall 2013 collection and it’s everything we’ve come to expect from creative director Riccardo Tisci. “Stars, stripes, studs and dogs are abundant as we’ve come to expect, but further motifs such as bulls-eye targets and check patterns have made their way into the latest season.”
Topshop-sponsored label MAN have unveiled their Fall 2013 offerings via London Collections: Men. MAN brings together student designers to create a unified brand image while bringing together varying skills and specialties. Del Toro looks to expand their current offerings from primarily footwear and accessories such as belts and hats to include fine handmade Italian leather and suede goods. Amongst the latest drops is a Weekender Bag made from brown pebbled Nappa leather with camo perforated suede details and cobalt suede lining as well as a small wallet, card holder and toiletry case.

Another presentation from London Collections: Men is Hentsch Man and their Fall 2013 offerings. The vibe for next fall looks to be a welcomed mix of laid-back California living and the chic tailored flair of European suiting. The result is relaxed suiting with single color geometric prints and monochrome block patterns. Also in the mix are a wide of complimentary items such as tees, knitwear, and double-breasted blazers.
British menswear label Lou Dalton opened the London Collections: Men shows with a well-designed range that’s balanced between workwear and fine tailoring in some of classic winter shells. Included in the mix were staple items such as Double-breasted coats in Raw Shetland wools, with welcomed details such as contrasted back panels and pocket flaps. With the Northern Isles of Scotland being the root of inspiration for Lou Dalton’s Fall/Winter 2013 collection, it’s no surprise the offerings also featured red tartan and large-scale green and navy plaid finishings. Some workwear-centric pieces included all-in-one jumpsuits, woolen gilets with technical fabrics and oilskins.

We first covered Android Homme a short-while back when we had the opportunity to meet the founder and designer of the LA-based brand, Javier Laval. When you can see the passion and confidence in a person’s eyes, you’re automatically drawn to the them and that’s what happened with Javier. Now, with the release of the brand’s Made in Italy collection, he’s really got our attention. “I wanted to offer our customers the joy of owning a beautifully designed, authentic product from Italy for under $300,” said Laval. The lineup features a few different styles in both high-top and low-top variations. The pieces are everything you’d expect when each pair is hand made by a small family of cobblers on the Adriatic coast of Italy. The use of hand treated leathers, vegetable tanned leathers, 3M pull tabs, laser etched eyerows, and incomparable comfort is what sets this collection apart.

To coincide with the release of the Men’s Spring 2013 collection, 3.1 Phillip Lim has dropped an exclusive short film featuring the undiscovered art of “Tricking.” A collaborative effort between 3.1 Phillip Lim and fashion photographer Jacob Sutton, the video showcases the Spring 2013 Men’s collection in flight, on real life battling ‘Trickers’ Jason Mello and Micah Karns. For those not familiar, Tricking is a combination of gymnastics, martial arts, and b-boying. The moves require several different disciplines such as taekwondo and kung fu and push the boundaries of creativity in what the physical body can do.
The collection itself pulls inspiration from Barroco and Nipo-Brasileiro sub-cultures and interprets traditional Baroque with a youthful perspective of luxury and artisanal value. Expect strong lines, playful textures and youthful elegance.
Japan’s Roberu has released another product, this time offering up a leather card case with contrasting leathers and other fine details. It comes in four colorways — red, blue, grey and brown — and utilizes Roberu’s original camel upholstery around the interior, with special dye-based oil being applied on the exterior to give a softer finish. There are a few compartments and though the case is quite slim, it can hold a pretty substantial amount.
The Roberu Card Case is available now on Roberu’s online store for ¥4,935 JPY (~ $57 USD).
