Frank Ocean’s that guy right now, folks. He’s catching a lot of acclaim as of late and even inked a deal with Def Jam. He released an album — Nostalgia, ULTRA — through Tumblr of all places but it was a hit and now we’re hearing rumblings of a commercial re-release through Def Jam. Many probably haven’t seen the man’s face but this video for “Acura Integurl” brings him to the light and features a track worth checking out.
Nardwuar is known for conducting some of the best interviews in the hip-hop industry. The man does his due-diligence and it shows. This time around, the Canadian native caught up with Lil’ Wayne while he was in Vancouver. Drake set this one up for Nardwuar and really jumped through hoops to make it happen. Some of the topics discussed include Cheech & Chong, Nirvana, Nicki Minaj’s lap dancing skills and the New Orleans rap scene, past and present.

If you’ve never seen an interview conducted by Nardwuar, I suggest you hit the jump and peep this one with Odd Future. Tyler the Creator and company get hit with some great questions and are left baffled for the most part. Another epic session with Nardwuar and it went down at this year’s SXSW in Austin, TX.
