The colour palette focuses on golden oak, military olive, ginger bread, legion blue and rustic brown.

The overall vision of the latest lineup also pulls inspiration from Great Britain, with its history, traditions and culture. The concept of Heritage underpins the company’s journey through the sophisticated and elegant British world. Blend this with Boglioli’s contemporary outlook and constant search for new directions, innovative fabrics, treatments and cuts, we get a line that takes elegance and refinement to new heights. Today marks the start of Pitti Uomo in Florence and we’ve already gotten a few brands in highlight. First up is Woolrich John Rich & Bros. and their Fall 2013 collection which is broken out into two macro themes for the season: the TOWN CONCEPT and MOUNTAIN CONCEPT. From the tailoring interpretation of the original Americana to the technical performances of the new Outdoor Teton Group, the collection presents a wider range of new outerwear and sportswear that go from the outdoor style to the more sophisticated urban and tailored look.

The TOWN CONCEPT focuses primarily on city life by delivering an understated tone via British-influenced blazers, herringbone patterns and tailored cuts. For layering, lightweight 100g pieces in down can be placed under blazers and lightweight outerwear such as the Sundance Jacket with hidden pockets and the hooded Powderhorn Parka.

The MOUNTAIN CONCEPT looks to interpret a lifestyle for a weekend out of the city and free time in the mountains, a continuative theme that goes back to the origins of the Woolrich brand. The pieces are made from technical water-resistant fabrics for cold outdoor temperatures and have an elegance that distinguishes them from purely outdoor outerwear.

Pitti Uomo is underway and one of the best S/S 2013 previews to hit the webs is that of Napoli designer Salvatore Piccolo. For next spring, the designer looks to blend Japanese fabrics with Italian styling and construction. Look for Japanese denim selvedged shirts as well as those of the cotton and canvas variety. There are also a handful of Piccolo-exclusive fabrics that can be seen on some of the linen suiting. All-in-all, there’s much to appreciate in Salvatore Piccolo’s Spring 2013 offerings, most of which can be seen below. (via Men’s Reverie)

Valentino took to the runways at Pitti Uomo 2012 to showcase their Fall/Winter 2012 collection. Designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli have delivered a collection that features sportswear pieces next to tailored formal attire. This is the modern menswear at its finest and if the runways of Milan, Paris, London and New York are nearly as solid as the offerings of Valentino then we’ll surely be in for a tremendous Fall 2012.

With Pitti Uomo entering its third day tomorrow, some street style photographers have already compiled a ton of photos from the first two days. With Pitti now behind us and a clear focus on the fashion week circuit, we thought it would be good to highlight this piece over at GQ.com. Michael Williams of ACL was in Florence for this month’s Pitti Immagine Uomo and the man definitely made his rounds. Here, he gives us a closer look at Lubiam’s L.B.M. 1911 line and their amazing soft shouldered sportcoats. The pieces will be offered up in various shades of blue as well as a few other key finishes. MW also gives us a look at the main Lubiam collection that’s filled with formal suiting and the sort.

Italian label Camo had a great presentation on day 2 of Pitti as they decided to dress a few guys in Camo, set up a table, and let them enjoy some wine and some card games. Beyond the creative approach, the product for Spring 2012 is looking great, with plenty of well-fitting suits and the like. (via Highsnobiety)

Here’s another solid lineup from Church’s. This time around, they’ve delivered a S/S 2012 collection that covers an array of styles and colorways.
