Another day here at Project NY and we’ve got some great looks from Plectrum by Ben Sherman their Spring 2013 collection. Dubbed, “Jazz Life,” the lineup takes inspiration from the Jazz scene of 1960′s America, a time of sharp styles and new sounds. Ben Sherman’s latest offerings blend musical influence with style, creating a new silhouette and inspired design detail, lending the collection a more contemporary sensibility. Throughout the offerings, look for some amazing prints and a vibrant colour palette. Shirts get various print themes, including art deco inspired geometrics and dobby detailing layered onto pinstripes and checks. More imagery of the line below.
We briefly highlighted Ben Sherman‘s latest line, Plectrum, a shortwhile back and now we’ve got full details of the collection, including looks from the label’s Fall 2011 collection. Inspiration comes from the Englishman in New York, a man that’s well-traveled, curious and eccentric. Ben Sherman dedicated much time to the crafting of these offerings as knits are made in Scotland, coats are lined with goose down and trimmed with real rabbit fur, the buttons and toggles are made from leather, horn and wood.
