Online retailer Oki-Ni has just gotten some new stock, most notably Eastpak’s collaboration with Rick Owens. The backpack maker’s had a string of solid collabs, and this series of bags were co-designed by Rick Owens under his DRKSHDW line. The result happens to be waxed canvas backpacks and duffels in shades of black to gray reminiscent of QWSTION‘s line of travel bags a few seasons ago. I only say that because I purchased a piece and the color and material is nearly identical.
But don’t worry, these bags have Rick Owens written all over them. This collection is truly unique and innovative; pieces have been produced without traditional sewn stitching and use a revolutionary welding technique that gives a distinct streamlined look. All items have been dry stone washed to give a naturally worn-in texture and each item in the line is accessorised with a DRKSHDW lanyard and coin purse.
