S.E.H Kelly has introduced their first-ever reversible jacket that features a wool shell sourced from a mill in West Yorkshire, and real horn buttons from the Midlands. See this as two four-button jackets made with complementary shades of wool-tweed that’s dry and warming. Both sides have a small rounded collar. The jacket’s lighter side has light horn buttons; the other side has dark ones. The jacket delivers on all fronts and also features hidden, in-seam slouch pockets that deliver added coverage for your hands.
From S.E.H Kelly comes another fall essential, this time in the form of a biscuit-colored lambswool rollneck jumper with inset slouch pockets on the side-seams. The details are immense but that’s something we’ve come to expect from the British brand. The soft, pliable lambswool is spun in Yorkshire in a light brown or “biscuit” finish that’s seldom seen on the market, making this piece a rare find. We’re really impressed with the construction as the chest and back of the sweater are finished in a warm, dense moss-stitch while the rest of the body and arms feature a lighter plain-stitch.
S.E.H. Kelly is a British clothing label that takes a great deal of pride in every aspect of their clothing; from the fabric, to the construction, to the buttons. Genuine horn buttons are a sign of the highest quality, and Midlands button makers creates some of the finest horn buttons for S.E.H. Kelly and their garments. Recently, they moved from their original Victorian space to a new, updated location. While the location may have changed, five generations of family-operated craftsmanship remains.
From S.E.H Kelly comes a spring-time update of the winter work jacket. It features some amazing detailing including a turn-down collar, with straight collar points, a four-button fastening, and simple single-button cuff sleeves.
S.E.H. Kelly continues to impress with their well-curated offerings, most notably these linen shirts for the spring and summer seasons ahead. They immediately caught our attention when we first came across them over at FREE / MAN. The deliver is tremendous as it comes in both a natural linen and a taupe color and features real horn tortoiseshell buttons and a semi-cutaway collar which furthers the British label’s minimalistic approach.
S.E.H Kelly is known for taking a more unconventional route, opting for a limited collection filled with some well-crafted pieces. The focus falls directly on the construction and attention to detail each item is given and the results are impeccable. This moss-stitch jumper is a fine example of the well-thoughtout product the label’s dishing out. It’s made with Shetland Isle yarn and knitted in Nottingham, England and features a thick tubular rib crewneck. “There are hip-height inset pockets at the sideseam, which have plain-knit pocket bags made of the same yarn. The yarn has a heavy gauge, and has been hand-twisted and lightly oiled by the mill to soften up a characteristically chunky handle.”
Available in two finishes — grey and navy.
