Here we have a look at Shipley & Halmos and their Fall/Winter 2013 collection. As expected, we see some slim attire that’s wearable both casually and in more formal settings. We spied a ton of great pieces including structured blazers, well-fitting denim, henleys and much more.
As this year’s Fashion’s Night Out is a day away, we’ve gotten turned to this special offering from the folks at Shipley & Halmos. In the FNO kit is a foam taxi hailing device, 3″ pin back button with “I HEART ANNA”, a special blend of trail mix, S&H liquid hydration formula (a.k.a. water), and a $5 NYC Metrocard that’s stamped with “MADE IN S&H”. We got our hands on the Spring/Summer 2011 lookbook from Shipley & Halmos and the line looks quite promising. Entitled “A Classic vs. Modern Parody”, designers Sam Shipley and Jeff Halmos studied the true definitions of “classic” and “modern” by researching Greek and Roman architecture and art while comparing it to early 20th century modernism. The result is a lineup filled with lighthearted, functional essentials that utilize new prints and usage of color, and unique twists.
