Loopwheeler Turiurake Crew Neck Sweatshirt [SHIPS]

Loopwheeler Turiurake Crew Neck Sweatshirt [SHIPS]Loopwheeler Turiurake Crew Neck Sweatshirt [SHIPS]

Japan-based Loopwheeler makes sweatshirts through a process which requires lots of manual labor and a machine called the loopwheel. Skilled craftsman attend to the machine at all times, which basically dishes out fabric that has very little overlay and bulk and lots of comfort and precision. One machine makes enough fabric daily to make 12 sweatshirts. Doesn’t seem like a whole because it isn’t. The time dedicated shows in the finish product.

To find Loopwheeler sweatshirts in the United States is a rarity though not impossible. If you’ve got connects overseas, we’d suggest directing them to SHIPS where you can pick one up in a trio of colorways for about $170 USD.

SHIPS Military Jacket

ZOZO has just taken stock of some new items from SHIPS including this military coat. It’s as durable as it is functional, with a well-lined hood and removable fur liner. The detail is timeless with an enhanced collar roll and the fit is everything we’ve come to expect from one of Japan’s premier labels. Plus, the inner lined fleece is reversible and removable so you can drop some weight when the sun starts beaming or wear it solo altogether. SHIPS brings this piece to us in an olive or black finish with a gray inner fleece. This military jacket will prove to be a popular addition to anyone’s outerwear lineup.
