Hypebeast gives us a closer look into the upcoming collaboration between Zaha Hadid Architects and Lacoste. The shoes take on a shape and design unlike anything else with bold and ultra-minimalistic lines. A comprehensive design philosophy can be seen below. The capsule for men and women will release in July of this year.

NDC’s cool take on the classic shoe has definitely gotten our attention. This perforated boat shoe is called the freeboard which is perfect for the summer months and there is even a little quote on the back for some poetic inspiration. We’ve seen NDC’s boat shoe at a few different retailers but this variation at Matches has won us over.

Tom Ford’s “Made to Measure” shoe collection is covered this week in GQ UK (via Selectism). If you’re willing to pay over $3,500 for a bespoke pair of beauties, then you’ll definitely get what you pay for. “Customers can select from any one of 18 styles – from lace-ups to loafers – and an almost bewildering number of materials (14 different kinds of calf leather, not to mention suede and crocodile skin).”

Sydney-based designer Gareth Moody started Chronicles of Never a few years back, a label that fuses industrial materials with the light headiness of dreams; simultaneously leading and ignoring fashion. Their dark navy soft leather lace up boot is a prime example of the brand’s creative fuel. The high tops are fitted with a thin footbed which we’re big fans of.
