4 Horsemen Supplies teams up once again with British Columbia’s Viberg for another solid offering. This time, they’ve opted for a Saddle Oxford based on Viberg’s 145 Oxford. The two-tone upper and hand perforated quarters really set this one apart with the vamp and counter finished in Ice Mocha Chrome Excel, and the quarters in Vintage Tan.
From French designer Christian Louboutin comes a look at his iconic “Louis” sneaker in an all-black shell, studs and all. The shell features premium leather trim and tonal black outsole, with the signature studs dropped in matte black finish. Look for these at select retailers and in very limited quantities.
If you want comfort, look no further than the new Quoddy Maliseet’s made exclusively for New York shop Leffot. They’re handsewn in Maine and made of Horween Chromexcel leather with deerskin lining throughout and feature cushioned insoles and camp soles. They’re lightweight, soft, flexible and everything else you’d want in your go-to summer shoe.
When you’re buying shoes as expensive as visvims, maybe it’s best to talk to those guys about maintaining your latest investment. Lucky for us, the Japanese label offers up some authentic shoe care product in the form of their Shoe Care Kit and Suede Care Kit alongside a series of shoe brushes. Athletic footwear brand Royal Elastics has evolved quite a bit since its original inception back in 1996. They were bought by K-Swiss in 2001 and in 2009, the original founders decided to take the company private again through an investor-led buyback. The basis of the original brand is still prevalent today — no laces. Those are replaced for elasticated cords instead and a lot of their highly athletic kicks even feature velcro straps.

Here’s another solid lineup from Church’s. This time around, they’ve delivered a S/S 2012 collection that covers an array of styles and colorways. The UK shoemaker has been doing it proper for so long and their upcoming product shows the brand’s ability to keep with the times by offering pieces that will never go out of style.
If you thought McNasty was going to be slowing down anytime soon, think again. The famed designer’s Spring 2012 collection is on display this week at Pitti and there’s a lot to anticipate. The footwear is looking promising once again with a full range of styles being offered including a dark suede brogue that sits atop a wooden sole and Goodyear construction. Some of the styles come with some choice words engraved on the bottom of the shoe (see image below).
The folks at Unionmade have taken stock of their latest custom makeups from Alden. There are two unique pieces in the mix this time around, both made expressly for Unionmade. The Bluxome Two Tone Straight Tip Medallion Toe Spectator features Alden’s De Rosa Perforated Straight Tip pattern and a plantation crepe outsole. The McAllister Two Tone V-Tip Split Toe in Brown Chromexcel is a play on the classic American Algonquin pattern in a subtle two tone of brown chromexcel and reverse tobacco chamois.
