We’ve seen our fair amount of navy ties with white polka dots but this variation from Drake’s London gives some added texture in the form of its Shantung silk construction. “Originating from China, this variety of the luxurious fabric has a raw, bobbled feel adding texture and flair to your dressed-up looks.” The polka dot necktie has this timeless elegance that not many pieces embody and with the longstanding history of Drake’s behind it, there’s not really much else we can ask for.

Now in its sixth season, Barbour’s collaborative effort with Japanese designer Tokihito Yoshida brings another tremendous lineup. The Beacon Heritage “ToKiTo” collection adds technical details to Barbour’s longstanding aesthetics and appeal. “Yoshida sympathetically uses classic Barbour materials such as 6oz Sylkoil and Quilted Polyamide, as well as innovative fabrics such as Gore WINDSTOPPER to create modern, ergonomically crafted silhouettes, making the Beacon Heritage collection his own.”

For Spring 2012, the outerwear pieces to check out are the Spey Fishing Jacket which is made from Gore Windstopper Active Shell as well as the Mount Shirt, a completely new addition to the Barbour Tokito lineup. It comes in three materials: Waxed, Herringbone and Windstopper.

The product is now hitting stockists worldwide, with End Clothing already getting a few pieces.

Though Boardwalk Empire‘s latest season is over, Michael Pitt manages to stay in the spotlight as he showcases Prada‘s Spring/Summer 2012 collection in these looks from the label’s latest campaign. The styling has a distinct style and features some exceptional pieces, including the DB suit Pitt’s wearing above. Beyond this, look for more eccentric shirts offered up in an array of prints.

We recently highlighted Comune‘s Spring/Summer 2012 Collection video and now he have looks at the entire collection. Some pieces to note are the chinos which come in a few different finishes as well as the white range of denim jackets. There are a few sweatshirts in the mix as well, both of which feature an asymmetrical cut across the front.

For his new Spring/Summer 2012 collection, British designer Nigel Cabourn joined Viberg to reinvision the Service Boot, one of the great classics of the Canadian brand. It features a reverse leather shell with a heavily distressed look throughout the cap toe and sides of the upper. It’s a great look and one that adds to the already versatile silhouette of the Service Boot. The pair will soon be available exclusively at Barneys in the US. (via Glltn)

Here’s a preview of what’s to come from Commune de Paris and their S/S 2012 collection. The complete lineup will feature chambray shirts in both short and long sleeve variations, cotton cardigans, knitted vests, polka dotted polos, a few tees as well as canvas and leather bags. The bag shown below is actually a looker, and one we can see ourselves picking up. The colorway is phenomenal and the fine details like the red stripe going across and the CDP initials in gold on the front take things next level. Look for the collection to release late January.

Introducing the Burberry Spring Summer 2012 ad campaign, featuring new British cast Eddie Redmayne and Cara Delevingne. The casting of this new duo reflects different facets and attitudes of the Burberry guy and girl. Shot in London, the campaign reinforces the brand’s heritage in protection from the weather, showcasing outerwear including trench coats and parkas. Look for more shots to drop from the campaign throughout the season.

Engineered Garments has released looks at their Spring 2012 lookbook through Nepenthes. There’s a good mix of fabrics and prints, as the label’s gone as far as adding floral shorts and a few other pieces that immediately caught our attention. Lightweight cotton poplin can be seen throughout the collection as well as a few cotton twill pieces.

Italy’s Stone Island turns us to their Spring/Summer 2012 collection which happens to be filled with a ton of lightweight outerwear pieces that are well-designed and highly technical as you’d expect. There’s a good range of colors and the products range from windbreakers and cardigans to hoodies and t-shirts.

White Mountaineering has dropped their Spring/Summer 2012 collection, which is quite comprehensive as it ranges from parkas and lightweight jackets to denims, t-shirts and button downs. What stands out most about this collection is the label’s willingness to experiment with new prints and details, most of which are unique to White Mountaineering’s collection. We spyed a floral camo print atop a parka shell that looks like a must-have as well as a ton of detail on the denims. Enjoy more looks below.
