H&M has announced that Beyoncé will be the face of its summer campaign. Beyoncé is set kick off her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour on April 15th and will be appear in television and print ads featuring pieces from H&M summer collection. The print and outdoor billboards introduce “Beyoncé as Mrs. Carter in H&M”, the idea that all women can be all things: strong, vulnerable, sensual, maternal, fun, flirtatious. The campaign was shot in Nassau in the Bahamas by photographers Inez & Vinoodh, while the commercial was directed by Jonas Åkerlund. The clothing will be available beginning May in H&M stores worldwide and online.
Here we have a look at Tres Bien’s Spring/Summer 2013 lookbook. The retailer’s known to pick all the right brands and is able to effortlessly deliver a solid blend of product that’s wearable and perfect for the current season. Photographer Linus Morales was behind the lens for this shoot and featured a mix of styles for both men and women. Labels include Acne, Marni, Kolor, Maison Martin Margiela, Lanvin and many others.

Frank Ocean caught the interest of Band of Outsiders founder and creative director Scott Sternberg, so much so that the label commissioned the R&B artist to showcase their Spring 2013 collection. The Polaroid-style lookbook is on par with delivery of lookbooks from past seasons but the tux Frank wears is exceptional and everything we’ve come to expect from Band of Outsiders. Mr. Sternberg was behind the lens as they shot the lookbook oustide the Los Angeles Times Building.
This is in fact the first batch of photos from the lookbook featuring Frank in a Band of Outsiders peak lapel tux in the SoCal sun. Expect the rest of the lookbook to be released throughout the rest of the week via their Tumblr and Instagram accounts.
From Haerfest comes their latest collection, pulling inspiration from DeWain Valentine and the Light and Space Art Movement of the 1960s. Their use of aerospace materials to suggest, manipulate, and conceal light was a driving aspect of the new collection. Reflective gold leathers, translucent ghost PVC panels, and high density canvas to deliver fresh takes on some of Haerfest’s signature pieces. From Valentino comes these lace-up sneakers for the Spring and Summer seasons. We actually saw this in person a short-while back and are glad to see MR PORTER picking them up. There’s a nostalgic appeal to them as the design takes us back a bit. The detailing is exceptional and ranges from a rich grey leather upper to red and blue suede heel patches and of course Valentino’s iconic studs along the heel. They’re Italian made and also feature contrasting brown and black rubber soles.

The lineup features a ton of must-have items including their varsity vests which feature wool bodies and supple leather detailing.
