Moleskine Black Collection 2012

Our good friends over at Acquire have turned us to Moleskine’s latest offerings — the Black Collection. It’s a new collection of books designed for photos, scrapbooking, art, and good ol’ doodling. Fluorescent gel pens and pencils are available as well as they’ll definitely flow well with the blacked-out pages. More info over at Moleskine.

Place for Trace by OMAS

Place for Trace is a trace holder for architects and a welcoming addition to any designer’s desk space. Enterprised by New York City-based O’Brian Muehleisen Architecture Studio, it can hold a standard roll of trace with room for up to 15 pens and pencils. Place for Trace is available in four distinct wood finishes, and although I’m no architect, this may end up being one of my future display pieces.

Postalco for Opening Ceremony business card holder

An essential piece for every well-networked individual is the business card holder. There’s no reason why your holder can’t show some life. Ditch the gold and sterling silver varieties and adopt one of these. The patterns on these Postalco business card holders are redrawn from traditional japanese geometry: sangaku.

Camera Lens Calendar by Sharad Haksar

Designer and Photographer Sharad Haksar has created this desktop calendar that looks like a camera lens. It’s made from a single block of aluminum and the focus, shutter speed and aperture rings are used to display the year, month and date.
