The Hill-Side Fall/Winter 2011 Neckwear & Scarves Lookbook
Here, we have shots from The Hill-Side’s Fall 2011 lookbook. The collection’s really well done this time around, with a strong lineup of neckwear and scarves. Mikael Kennedy was behind the lens as he captured some notables folks in the industry, some of whom you might recognize. Look for the product to land in the coming weeks at select retailers worldwide including New York-based Hickoree’s.
The Hill-Side Selvedge Chambray Turmeric Necktie
We’ve been digging all that the Hill-Side has to offer up for quite sometime now and there are so many great pieces out for S/S ’11 it’s downright ridiculous. The consistency in their approach and staying true to their brand is what’s gotten them this far and dishing out neckwear like this chambray piece is a testament to the time and research they dedicate to their trade. The selvedge chambray comes from Japan in a “Turmeric” color indigo dye and is lined with 100% cotton selvedge muslin.
The Hill-Side for Context | Selvage Covert Chambray Red
The Hill-Side made a limited number of scarves, handkerchiefs, pocket squares and ties in the brand’s selvage covert chambray fabric exclusively for Context. The snappy red is a great finish and will definitely stand out from the crowd.
Preview | The Hill-Side Spring/Summer 2011 Video
The Brothers Corsillo turn us to a preview video for The Hill-Side‘s S/S 2011 offerings. This will only whet your appetite but definitely worth checking out nonetheless. Ties are one accessory of which I can never have enough and The Hill-Side are dishing out solid piece after solid piece. So many to choose from and not enough bank but sacrifices have to be made, friends.
The Hill-Side | Speckled Grey Wool-Blend Blanket Lining Necktie
The Hill-Side drops this speckled grey wool-blend necktie inspired by vintage blanket lined chore coats. The fabric is non-selvedge with finished ends and comes from Kojima, Japan. Like all fine The Hill-Side products, this too is made in New York City.
You can find this tie exclusively at Hickoree’s.
The Hill-Side Fall/Winter 2010 Lookbook
We got our hands on The Hill-side‘s Fall 2010 lookbook from the Brothers Corsillo and we have to say it’s pretty darn creative. Take a bunch of your friends, toss ‘em each a tie from your fall collection then send them over to your photo booth and see what happens. The Hill-side has always dropped some great products, most recently their collaboration with Tender Co. For the fall, expect an array of fabrics, including chambray, tweed and even waxed canvas. The color’s range as well but mostly stay mellow.

The Hill-Side x Tender Co. [Woad Dyed]
New York’s The Hill-Side and England’s Tender Co. have teamed up to make a great lineup of accessories that are made from natural selvedge chambray and dip-dyed by hand in Woad. With such a manual process, the color and covering of dye varies from one piece to the next. They’re made in New York City by The Hill-Side, and dyed in Norfolk, England by Tender Co. Standout items include pocket square, scarves, bandanas and ties, all of which are available at fine retailers now including Hickoree’s.
