Selectism turns us to The Hill-Side’s Spring collection. The lookbook is, “Jam packed with bloggers, with everyone from one half of Street Etiquette to Allplaidout making an appearance. On the product side there’s bandanas in the mix now as well as the usual array of handsome ties, handkerchiefs and scarves.”

Winn Perry, Portland’s finest boutique has just gotten these chambray scarves by The Hill-side. Utilizing the same Japanese chambray fabric as their ties and handkerchiefs, the scarves seem to be a logical extension of the young label’s collection and for the old wardrobe too. Like their other products, these scarves were also constructed in New York City. They’re available in an indigo, black and red variety.

Secret Forts turns us to J.Crew’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection, one filled with plenty of well-crafted pieces and highly anticipated collaborations. The classic American brand will be teaming up with the likes of Alden, Baracuta, Superior Labor, Mister Freedom, Rogues Gallery, Saint James, Red Wing and the Hill-side.

Online retailer Blackbird’s gotten a variety of accessories from The Hill-Side, a fairly new label that’s popped up on the scene. They have a solid lineup of ties, pocket squares and bandanas, all made from the finest fabrics. For their inaugural collection, they sourced selvage denim from Okayama in Japan, an area that’s got one hell of a reputation when it comes to the material. The Hill-Side also brought in left-hand twill and tough waxed canvas to give us a good mix. All products are currently made in New York City, all the more reason to support the cause.
