Japanese label The SoloIst and Los Angeles-based Oliver Peoples have teamed up once again for a small collection of eyewear. In total, three different styles will be available, with each dropping in two gradient colorways — black and light brown. As you’ll see from the shots above (and below), there’s a more classical style that’s been crafted and one that’s a bit more modern as well to appeal to a wider range of folks out there. The frames are set to drop in early Spring 2012 to the Japan/Asian market, though you can expect a small quantity to hit Oliver Peoples Boutiques as well.
Oliver Peoples has teamed up with TAKAHIROMIYASHITA TheSoloIst for an amazing run of eyeglasses for Spring 2011.
The effort marks another notch in Oliver Peoples defining list of respected works and incorporates distinctive elements from each brand in the finish. Spanning five pairs of classic Oliver People silhouettes the glasses use mix of acetate and aged metals and come with an additional set of clip-on sun glasses. The line is slated for release in March of 2011.

Takahiro Miyashita returns to the men’s fashion scene with his newest brand, “The Soloist”. The label’s “Debut” collection pulls inspiration from the 19th century while blending in some innovative techniques. “Consisting of an assortment of knit wear, suits, multi layered shirts, jackets, vests, pants, and a range of accessories the Solo Ist conveys a sense of balance of contemporary style with the old century flair.” (via Hypebeast)
