Frank Clegg is a Massachusetts-based designer and craftsman of men’s and women’s leather goods. He’s been around for over four decades and has built a name for himself by consistently delivering pieces that are well-designed, flawlessly crafted and simply timeless. Frank and his family recently gave us the opportunity to review a bag of our choosing and we immediately jumped at the Aiden duffel. It’s the perfect bag for my lifestyle as I take frequent 2-3 day trips.

This leather travel bag from Simon Spurr is one of the finest we’ve ever seen and we mean it. Personally, I’ve always been a fan of the black and gold combination and pairing the bag’s black shell with gold accents just takes it next level. It features two handles, golden zips and hardware, a padlock, an internal laptop or document sleeve, and an embossed Simon Spurr logo on the outside.
We’ve featured Austrian label hard graft here in the past as they’ve been able to consistently deliver some well-made product that’s extremely functional to boot. Their 2Unfold multi-purpose laptop bag first came to life back in 2007 and since then has been offered up in a few different finishes, the latest being this black shell. As always, it’s handmade by their friends in their small family-run workshop in Italy.

Trips will come though and when they do, this trolley from Mulberry will be one companion I’d personally love to take along for the journey. It features pebbled grey-green leather with contrasting smooth cognac leather trimmings. This piece of luggage is fitted with leather carry handles at top and single side and features an extendable pull-along handle to keep it rolling on two wheels when it’s time to spring to the festivities.
