It’s always good to have options and for that, we bring you a look at Rocky Mountain Featherbed Company’s military-inspired down vests. They’re well designed with deep front pockets and a slim fit throughout and come in tan, olive and black. The style is a bit out there but it’s definitely unique from most of the vests we’ve come across this season.
There’s always one down vest each season that catches our attention and never lets go. This time around, Stone Island’s Shadow Project holds the crown with their Modular down vest. It features vertical chest pockets, a raised collar with velcro band.
The Levi’s Lefty Textile gilet is a great looking piece for the upcoming spring and summer seasons. The striped textile waistcoat comes in this grey shell with double-button detailing and also features two internal patch pockets.
Japanese retailer Rumors has taken stock of ato’s latest creation — the Varsity Vest. Think about it, the warmer months are not too far off for the most of us and wearing a heavy wool-body/leather-sleeved varsity jacket just won’t cut it, amiright? Well, I guess alot of factors go into making that decision but here’s any easy one. The label’s Varsity Vest is a unique offering as not only does it comes sans leather sleeves but it also features asymmetrical button closure which makes it even more appealing. (via hb)
‘Tis the season, folks so why not get in the spirit with some holiday-themed gear? All jokes aside, this vest from South2 West8 is a perfect pickup for the coming weeks. The shell comes in two varieties and is made of trimmed deerskin and lined with buck leather. The charcoal finish really works well with the two-tone design and dark brown trimmings.
French label Bleu de Paname is still fairly young but their products and delivery are really something to admire and respect. Entitled “uniforme,” the fall season collection features reworked bombers, work shirts, and jackets that acquire modern detailing like mismatched pockets and elbow patches. This down vest is just another solid offering from the line. The navy/gray combination works well and will definitely prove to be more versatile than folks think.
We highlighted items from the Norse Projects x Lavenham collaboration a little while back and recently noticed the items are available for purchase, just in time for the holidays. The Rane Vest was one of our favorites from the lookbook and though only a green variation was featured, it’s also available in a navy blue finish. This classic english country inspired quilted vest is fitted with press closure and is crafted in a 100% wool outer and trimmed with corduroy, both internally and externally. The military style flap pockets work well with the overall aesthetics of the vest and an additional patch pocket is located on the back left for added storage.
From the David Beckham for adidas Originals by Originals Collection (ObyO), which is designed by James Bond, comes the Hooded Down Vest. It’s filled with real down feathers and made of Scottish premium Harris Tweed wool. On the inside, you can see the lining’s made from coloured satin which maintains the luxe-level appeal. It’s all topped off with the Harris Tweed logo on the inside for the much-welcomed stamp of approval.
We’d tell you to add this to your Christmas list but there’s a good chance it’ll sell out before then.
