Back in June, Bentley gave us the opportunity to take their Mulsanne for a weekend retreat. Though our experience with this beauty was nothing short of exceptional, we didn’t really test the limits in terms of speed. Sure, we’ll we took it north of 100 mph but you ain’t livin’ unless you’re high-speed cruising at north of 190 mph. That’s exactly what World Land Speed Record Holder Andy Green did as he approached 200 mph on the Bonneville Salt Flats. Boy does that 6.75-liter Twin-Turbo V8 under the hood perform. A.P.C. celebrated their 25 year anniversary the other night with a party at their Soho boutique in New York. Afrika Bambaataa was spinning and this video was playing in the background. Founded in 1987 by Tunisian born Designer Jean Touitou A.P.C. quickly gained a cult following among Parisians and New Yorker’s for its minimalist designs and high-quality Japanese selvage denim. The design hasn’t lost his touch over the years as the brand continues to innovate and deliver on everything that’s made A.P.C. what it is today.

With us being less than two weeks away from the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, we get a new trailer, this one being directed by Guy Ritchie and boy does it show. “Surprise” is a live action trailer that’s filled with near-future weaponry and some legit cameos as well. Hodinkee tells us Swiss watchmaker IWC Schauffhausen have introduced a new video series entitled “The Man’s Guide To Buying a Watch.” Available across several mediums including Facebook and IWC.com, the series will serve as a knowledge base for folks that aren’t yet caught up in the technicalities of mechanical watches but will surely be worth the watch for anyone — newbies and seasoned enthusiasts alike. Episode 1: What Is A Movement? features Mr. Michael Friedberg, well-known IWC collector and moderator of the IWC forum.
