British brand Sunspel has collaborated with Postalco to produce a limited edition collection of notebooks, wallets and cardholders. The inspiration behind the offerings is a prototype fabric sketch conceived by a Sunspel technician in the 1950s. All pieces were handcrafted in Japan, where Postalco is now based.
Available through Sunspel.com, the card holder retails for $217, notebook for $82.60 and the wallet for $273.
Moleskine has a long history of producing some of the best journals and notebooks on the market and recently they decided to expand their storied collection to include bags and cases. The Travelling Collection features a messenger bag, briefcase, backpack, totes, and cases with many of Moleskines trademark notebook features, such as elastic closure straps and “In case of loss” tags. All of the bags and cases have semi-hard, soft-to-touch bases to maintain their shape and stand upright on their own. Add-on pouches can be purchased in various sizes and attach to the lining using Velcro straps.

A new video by dutch artist Rogier Wieland illustrates the new Moleskine Extra Small Planners, Weekly and Daily. When we first got turned to the mini-sized additions to the Moleskine lineup, we were impressed with the design and efficiency of the new offerings. This video just sums up the extreme usefulness of these beauties.
We saw a glimpse of these when we previewed Alexander Olch‘s fall collection a few months back and to finally see retailers take stock of the beauties shows how amazing they really are. The detective notebook has been enhanced with a 100% English wool shell, perfect for the season. The Olch took some of his favorite fabrics from this season and slapped on a notepad, which I personally have never seen done. Some of the styles even come with special paper featuring lines made from dots designed by Alexander Olch. These will surely make for great holiday gifts. For me.
The Moleskine Planners collection just got smaller and larger as they’ve just added two new endpoints to the lineup, one being the smallest and the other being the largest planners in the Moleskine catalogue thus far, both hard cover, and both in two different page layouts — daily and weekly. The two new additions are the Extra Small, a super portable organizing tool for people who love miniature design and small writing, available in six different colors, and the A4, made for desk use in an office environment.
These additions also bring the grand total to thirty-two pieces ranging in sizes, page layouts (daily, weekly, monthly), covers (soft, hard, black, red, other colors) and different combinations of scheduling space and space for free notes.
