Billy Reid Fall/Winter 2010 [GQ/CFDA Best New American Menswear Designer]

Billy Reid has been named the winner of GQ and CFDA’s Best New American Menswear Designer Award for 2010. With this win comes $50,000 and the opportunity to craft a limited edition Levi’s collection for Bloomingdale’s. The Louisiana-bred designer beat out five other hopefuls — Richard Chai, Frank Muytjens for J.Crew, Caulfield Preparatory by Vincent Flumiani, Unis by Eunice Lee, and Burkman Brothers by Doug and Ben Burkman.
