Introducing | Ferrari FF, Company's First Four-Wheel Drive Car

Though Italy’s Lamborghini has been making four-wheel drive cars for quite sometime now, Maranello’s Ferrari has thrown their hat in the ring with the Ferrari FF. The FF — an acronym for Ferrari Four (Four seats and four-wheel drive) — is really something special as it’s a revolutionary masterpiece. With a V12 engine under the hood, this car’s as powerful as it is versatile, something Pininfarina took into account when designing the supercar.

Ferrari’s exclusive, patented 4RM weighs 50 per cent less than a conventional four-wheel drive system and is completely integrated with the car’s electronic dynamic control systems. The FF is also equipped with the latest magnetorheological damping system, as well as the most recent development in carbon-ceramic brakes from Brembo. Performance wise, the car shoots from 0 to 100 km in 3.7 seconds.

Look for the Ferrari FF to be unveiled at this year’s Geneva Motor Show with sales to begin sometime this summer. (via egmCarTech)
