Selectism turns us to UNIQLO’s latest venture in Manhattan. Outside of building out a second flagship store in NYC, they’re looking to really impact the community with the High Line Rink. The Japanese retailer has teamed up with “Friends of the Highline” for this roller skating rink installation, the only open-air rink in Manhattan. It’s presented by UNIQLO as “part of a two-year partnership that supports the ongoing maintenance and operations of the High Line. Admission will be free for the first 500 people on the first two days of operation thanks to UNIQLO.”
The 8,000 sq/ft High Line Rink will be open from July 28 to September 26 and will be located within The Lot at West 30 Street and 10th Avenue.
